Bright Phonics is an educational application designed to facilitate the development of early reading skills in children. The platform aims to optimize the learning process by employing scientifically validated techniques, notably Spaced Repetition, to enhance the retention of English phonemes.

Within Bright Phonics, parents can engage in phonics practice sessions with their children. The app presents a phoneme (for example, "oo," "igh," or "ff") and prompts the child to articulate the corresponding letter sound. Based on the child's response, an adaptive system categorizes their familiarity using a traffic light scheme: 'Yes', 'Yes with help', or 'Not yet.' The app then adjusts subsequent practice routines, encouraging more frequent review of unfamiliar phonemes and less repetition of mastered ones, thus reinforcing long-term memory consolidation. Multiple user profiles are available to accommodate individual learning paces for different children.
